For those that know me, I have been working out like crazy lately…well, maybe 4-5 days a week. I have been doing a short but very high intensity work out. I usually go to youtube for my work out and I have found some of the greatest trainers there. I also found this girl Zuzka on oh my gosh! She kicks my butt every time I do one of her workout! She is great, short workout, but very intense! I absolutely love it. You can get her DVD on Amazon.com, I promised you, you won’t be disappointed! I started right around summer time, and so far I have lost 18lbs and counting… I’m almost to my high school weight, which is super exciting for me. I had to challenge myself and of course the cravings for food were entirely hard on me. I do still eat some carbs and sometimes will have my ice cream here and there, but for the most part I usually eat a lot of protein, some carbs, fruits and vegetables. I have been crazy shopping for workout clothes too that I love to wear. I like to wear something comfortable that also makes you look sexy at the same time. One of my favorite brands is Marika. Really nice material and super comfy, I love Marika!
So here’s the thing about Beauty…It’s so hard to be beautiful, thank goodness for make up artists right. My never ending research of the Perfect Foundation, blushes, eye shadows, etc…etc…. has started long time ago and still to this day researching and trying out what’s good for my skin..Mostly, it’s finding the right foundation! I don’t know why I’m just blogging about it. It’s been years of trying new and old foundation that would match my complexion, so far I have no luck finding my perfect color for my . The problem is, I have an oily face, color is lighter and darker in some areas, my neck is totally different color than my face. When I think I found the perfect shade, a few hours later my face is one to two shade darker because of this problem I have… I have been told to use a non-oily moisturizer, which I do! I was also told to use a primer, which I do! I was also told to use a Press Powder, which I do sometimes! But here are the products I have encountered so far in this Beauty Blunder Journey..Again, this is just my opinion and experienced, so please feel free to comment and suggest anything that you like! I’m pretty open to anything at this moment!
So far, I came across this make up called “MAC, since they do have the closes shade to my skin tone, I do love their Mac Studio Fix for the full coverage, but it just doesn’t last long for me..I feel like I’m always re-touching my shiny face. Which is so frustrating! I also tried Lancome 24H wear and so far so good, I liked the fact that it stayed on my face for a long time, except like I said earlier the color was way off after a few hours probably 2 shades darker for my face compared to my neck. So, I went to Target and bought a bunch of make up brushes and came across ELF, eyes, lips and face. They are super cheap.. So far like the Bronzing Brush and their brushes so far. I do think the material is cheaply made, but it’s a good buy. I also bought some Revlon foundation I liked it, but had to return it due to the wrong color of course! But I did get the Loreal true match super blendable powder in Warm Creme Cafe to use for bronzing. I bought the MUFE matte 60 at and I loved the way it applied to my skin for contouring, except it was TOO red for my skin tone. So someone from Sephora had suggested that I use a darker foundation to use for contouring instead . So that’s how my trip to Target came to play….I wanted to get something cheaper than the MUFE price tag, I figured I’m only going to use it for contouring why not get something less pricey. I also wanted something more MATTE looking, and most of the bronzing products at Target or Wal-mart store are too shimmery for me, but they do carry something online that is more Matte Bronzing at Wal-mart online. I didn’t see anything at that time from Target that was a powder base except Loreal. While back and forth to Sephora, , Nordstrom and Target, by the way I did NOT do this in one day, it was probably more like two weeks of trying this out. I also picked up some brushes by Sonia Kashuk Kabuki brush and also bought the Stippling and angled eye shadow brush No 108 by Sonia Kashuk and that angle brush is my all time favorite so far, better than my Mac brush, and the bristles are tapered nicely, really great for my gel liner, Love it!…. So, now you know my Beauty Blunder Journey! Who knew, it is such a Task, finding the right color for my skin tone is SO much work.. 🙂 I’m tired! More to come as I move forward in this Journey!Forever”, I have never heard of it, until recently and I have to say I like it so far. I’ve always use
Okay so I made my coffee ice cream that I adapted from pinterest…As you know I have a HUGE food critic at home….my husband and my kids. The coffee ice cream that I made was good, but not as good as if you made it from your ice cream maker…my ingredients are a lot better and tasting and creamer and almost if not better than hagen daz…
Not a coffee drinker that’s okay, you can take the coffee out and you have yourself a creamy vanilla ice cream. Try it and let me know how you like them.
Here is the ingredients:
1 cup milk (organic optional)
2 cups heavy cream (organic optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
2 Starbucks Via ready Brew packet
Love the smell of coffee in the morning or anytime for that matter. Starbucks has a great basket and gift ideas for the Holidays
Yield: About 2 cup
Stir together chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small pot. Place on stove top on high for 2 minutes or so. Continue stirring in 15 second intervals until all of the chocolate is melted. Remove and let sit until the chocolate reaches room temperature.
Serve with ice cream, or cover and store at room temperature keep in a mason jar or plastic container with cap. DO not store in a refrigerator, keep it for up to 1 month. I made more as it goes fast in my house. My kids love it! Happy kids, happy Mom.
I bought some burlap at Joann‘s last week, and I’ve been wanting to make something with it… So now that October is here I went to Google to find some pictures of a cute pumpkin and I came up with this. I did not have any paint on hand that I wanted to use, so I decided to go to my children’s crayon jar and voila!
Three-Ingredient Coffee Ice Cream
Prep 10 min
Total 10 min + 4 hours or longer freezing time
I used my Blentec blender as my stand mixer broke….STIR cream with instant espresso in a large bowl (or bowl of a stand mixer).
BEAT cream, using an electric mixer on medium or blentec on pulse, until soft peaks form, 2 to 4 min. Reduce speed to low and gradually beat in condensed milk until just combined. Mixture should be smooth and fluffy.
SCRAPE mixture into a tupperware container or 9×5-in. loaf pan. Cover with lid, or a piece of waxed paper if using loaf pan. Freeze until firm, about 4 hours. Scoop and serve!
